Underwhelmed. This whole place could do with a little love itself! Then it might be a more attractive "attraction "!

OK so this is a little maze with a few photograph opportunities throughout. Is it the best maze in the world? No.
However it is another one of those things that Scotland does so well, a quirky little attraction in a beautiful area that doesn't squeeze any money out of you.
If you want somewhere with free parking for cars and campers while you take a few pictures this is lovely.

Found at the back of the car park, by the wall of Love.
A fairly basic maze that you can wonder around.
Great for families, adults and children.
Adds a bit of fun to a pretty little area.
Its free, and so is the parking.
Toilets and cafe nearby.

What a little gem of a place. Easy to find. Large free carpark. The maze is great and the padlock love wall is a nice touch. Free to enter lots to see. Cafe ,shops and public toilets (no charge) . Dog friendly a field at the back of the maze to walk the dogs on or off the lead. In 3 hours we see 5 weddings, one with a pipper, one in Scottish dress. Well worth a visit.

Hedge maze at Gretna Green. There is a central raised platform, and the maze is fairly easy to solve.

Went to Gretna Green to check our lock on the fence on or tour of Scotland up round the West Coast NC500. Such a beautiful country who needs to go abroad. Our lock was still attached as we left it on or first visit in 2021, rusty but intact.
It's like a pilgrimage every year

This review is specifically for the maze.
Positive is that this is free, and if you are passing and want a five minute leg stretch this is ideal.
However wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit as it’s very very small. And this maze is ironically not very well loved as many of its features when we visited were in a state of disrepair

Really basic thing for the kids to do. It's free, so honestly cant complain. Nothing overly exciting.

Great little attraction, very close to Gretna. Went with the fiancé and we both enjoyed it.

Had fun but a bit dirty. The symbol of the maze/love life is nice. A very nice stop over in our trip from Scotland to England. I recommend it warmly. It had stores, food halls and clean toilets.

A small but perfectly formed maze, fun to zoom around if you're knee high to a grasshopper or wander around if you're older and wiser.
You'll be done and dusted in 10 minutes but a fun distraction whilst you're visiting the Blacksmiths shop.

Visited today. Drove 90 miles to get there only to find out that the maze is closed. Need to update website to state this. In today's economic climate things like this put visitors off and drive business away.
Dont bother. Such a shame.
